Leading up to the election on October 10, 2023, Liberian youth made solemn public promises not to commit violence, made TikTok video of it, put it on Facebook and made it go viral. This encouraged many more young people to make the same promise. They are expecting to reduce election violence in the areas where Interfaith Peacemaker Teams are active.
