Thursdays with OMNIA on White Christian Nationalism

January 22, 2026

8:00 a.m. (US/Canada Central Standard Time)

9:30 a.m.

The Just Peace Interfaith Peacemaker Team addresses two ideological myths that impact US public policy: Christian Zionism and White Christian Nationalism. As always, we begin our exploration with stories and wisdom from the ground. In this session about White Christian Nationalism, we will hear from Rev. David Black, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Chicago, and Daniel Soto-Gonzales, lead educator of the Youth Advocacy project in Hammond, Indiana. This is a Christian problem that requires Christian theological responses. However, we always have interfaith interlocutors. In that role this time, is Dr. Neena Mahadev, Professor or Religious Studies at Duke University.
