Cameroon IP Teams Build a School

As the Interfaith Peacemaker (IP) -Teams in Tiko and Mutengene did one-on-one conversations in their communities, they learned that the real need in the community is for a school for young children. They found a building in the Cicilian village of Tiko Sub-Division, converted it into a classroom, and brought in furniture and equipment, including computers. Today, the school has commenced operations, meeting on Saturdays with 20 children between 3 and 12 years of age. This effort is significantly supported by Marc Baichim, a dedicated member of the IP-Team, who has taken on the role of instructor. Plans are in place for the institution to evolve into a full-time nursery and primary school next year.
